Tivat Beaches

Beaches in Tivat run from the long pebble-and-concrete strip along the Tivat waterfront and Pine Park, through the dedicated swim platforms at Porto Montenegro, to the sheltered coves of Plavi Horizonti, Žukovica and the Lustica Bay south side. The bay's geography keeps water flat, warm and clean across most of the swim season.

The most popular swimming spot is Plavi Horizonti, a horseshoe-shaped sandy bay south of Tivat with a soft bottom, beach bars and a relaxed family atmosphere; Žukovica and Donja Lastva carry the centre's swim crowd; and the Porto Montenegro lido is a more upmarket pay-entry alternative with sun-bed service and bay views back across to Verige. Most beaches stay open from mid-May through October with sun-bed rental at six to fifteen euros for a full set, and beach bars from May through late September.
