Inside, the institution keeps ethnographic material tied to the bay's seafaring past, alongside an artistic holding donated from Düsseldorf in the mid-2000s. Permanent rooms and rotating shows sit around a walled courtyard at the cultural heart of the town, a short walk from the waterfront.
