The village is largely preserved, with narrow stone lanes, single-storey houses around small courtyards, the Saint Mary church at the centre and the surrounding Vrmac ridge trail giving wide views across the Bay of Kotor toward Perast and the Verige strait.

Day-trip visitors come for the village atmosphere, the bay views and a handful of small konobas serving traditional Montenegrin food in stone-walled rooms. Most accommodation is a small set of restored stone houses run as guesthouses or short-stay apartments. Year-round access by road from Donja Lastva via a steep but paved switchback; the village is a short drive or a forty-minute walk from the centre.
