The village is a long strip of stone houses ribboning along the bay road, with a small fishing-boat quay, a sheltered pebble swim cove and a handful of family-run restaurants and guesthouses overlooking the water. The pace is significantly slower than the Tivat centre, drawing visitors who want a quieter base within fifteen minutes' drive of Tivat Airport and the Centre.

The village's restaurant offer leans toward fish and traditional Montenegrin cooking, with the larger waterfront rooms relying on the daily Adriatic catch and Bay of Kotor mussels from the farms across the bay. Accommodation is a mix of short-stay apartments in restored stone houses, a small set of family-run guesthouses and one or two larger villa rentals. Most of the offer runs from late May through October; off-season the village quietens substantially.
