Tivat Activities
Things to Do in Tivat
Activities from Tivat cover Bay of Kotor boat tours, kayak and SUP rental, jet-ski and parasailing, day trips to Lovćen, Skadar Lake and Dubrovnik.
Activities in Tivat lean heavily on the bay. Boat tours and speedboat charters depart from the Porto Montenegro marina, the Centre quay and Donja Lastva for the standard Bay of Kotor circuit covering Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, the Blue Cave on the Lustica peninsula and the Yugoslav submarine tunnels. Half-day tours run twenty to thirty-five euros, full-day routes with lunch at fifty to ninety.
Water sports work the same waterfront: kayak, SUP and windsurf rental at Plavi Horizonti and Donja Lastva, jet-ski hire at Porto Montenegro and the larger beaches, and parasailing from the southern coves in season. Land-based day trips head out to Lovćen National Park beyond Cetinje, the Skadar Lake at Virpazar, and Dubrovnik forty minutes across the Croatian border. Most operators run from late May through October; off-season tours run on charter only.
