The village character is residential rather than village-traditional, with mostly newer family houses on larger plots, a few small shops and a quieter pace away from the central tourist core.

Day-trip visitors are uncommon; the village's accommodation supply is mostly long-stay apartments and a handful of villa rentals serving the slower-tempo end of the visitor market and some longer-stay residents from the wider Tivat-airport business circuit. The village sits on the road between the Tivat centre and the lower Lustica villages, ten minutes by car from either end of the route.
